Call For Applications: FirstBank Fintech Innovators Challenge 2024

The FirstBank Fintech Innovators Challenge aims to support early-stage fintech startups and foster innovation in the financial services ecosystem.

The FirstBank Fintech Innovators Pitch Challenge will provide selected startups with intensive training, mentorship, and will feature a series of engaging sessions, keynote speeches, and networking opportunities.

FirstBank is hosting its 6th annual Fintech Summit with the theme “Banking on Partnerships”. Scheduled to take place on the 13th & 14th of November 2024. It will feature a series of engaging sessions, keynote speeches, and networking opportunities.

Fintech Innovators Pitch Program

As part of this event, FirstBank is launching the Fintech Innovators Pitch Programme to support early-stage fintech startups and foster innovation in the financial services ecosystem.

Through this programme, FirstBank of Nigeria aims to foster innovation, collaboration, and growth in the Nigerian Fintech ecosystem.

Eligibility Requirements for FirstBank Fintech Innovators Pitch Challenge

To participate in the Fintech Innovators Pitch Programme, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Must be an early-stage Fintech startup: Idea stage, working prototype, early traction, early revenue, seed.
  • Will be in Lagos and available for the pitch prep & pitch session (See dates below)

Benefits of FirstBank Fintech Innovators Challenge

  • The programme will provide selected startups with intensive training, mentorship.
  • All towards the opportunity to pitch their solutions to FirstBank, investors, and industry leaders.
  • Selected winners will receive support from FirstBank to bring their products to market, including strategic assistance, resources, and network access.

How to Apply for FirstBank Fintech Innovators Challenge 2024 (Step by Step)

To apply for the FirstBank Fintech Innovators Challenge, interested and qualified candidates should use the “CLICK HERE TO APPLY” button below to submit an application.

Timelines

  • Application closes: Sunday, 27th October. 23:59 WAT
  • Selection Announcement: Top 10 applicants will be notified by Monday, 4th November.
  • Pitch Prep: 8th November. In person physical training where facilitators and trainers coach you in refining your deck and presentation, practicing delivery, and ensuring clarity on key points and product features and value proposition.
  • Location will be communicated to selected startups.
  • Pitch Day! 13th November, Summit Day 1. Present in front of a panel of world-class judges with global investors and partners in attendance.
  • Winners announcement: 14th November, Summit Day 2
