Call for Applications: FSD & US Consulate Free 3-Month Vocational & Technical Training in Lagos

Fields of Skills and Dreams VTE Academy, with support from the US Consulate in Lagos, will hold a free, three month, vocational and technical training starting on Monday, October 5, 2020

The training program will start on Monday, 5th October and is scheduled to take place in Lagos. The program is designed to teach vocational and technical skills to emerging entrepreneurs and provide a leverage to get employment in similar fields in industry. This project is an initiative of Field of Skills and Dreams VTE, Lagos in partnership with the Public Affairs Section, U.S. Consulate General, Lagos.

The program will teach vocational and technical skills to emerging entrepreneurs, including people who lost their jobs due to the COVID-19 pandemic, unemployed graduates of tertiary institutions, and disadvantaged women.

The courses to be covered are:

  • Hotel & Catering Management
  • Fashion Designing
  • Refrigeration and AC Maintenance
  • Web Design
  • Mobile Phone Repairs
  • Hair Dressing

There will be screening and interviews. Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted.
