Are you a passionate young leader eager to make a difference in the fight against climate change? Do you want to develop the skills and knowledge necessary to engage meaningfully in international climate policy? If so, we invite you to apply for the Global Youth Climate Training Program (GYCT) 2025.

This unique, free, and virtual capacity development program is designed to empower young people aged 16-35 to become effective climate advocates and leaders. Through a comprehensive curriculum, participants will gain a deeper understanding of international climate policy, develop their advocacy skills, and build a network of like-minded peers from around the world.

Eligibility

  • Be aged 16-35
  • Demonstrate a passion for climate action and advocacy
  • Have a basic understanding of climate change and its impacts
  •  Be available to participate in the virtual training program

Benefits

  • Develop a deep understanding of international climate policy and its implications
  • Enhance your advocacy skills and confidence to engage with global leaders
  • Connect with a network of young climate leaders from diverse backgrounds
  • Receive a certificate of completion upon finishing the program
  •  Become eligible to apply for a bursary of up to £3000 to attend COP30 in Brazil

The bursary aims to break down the financial barriers that often prevent young activists from participating in critical global events. By providing this support, we hope to ensure that the voices of young people are heard and represented at COP30.
