A vibrant internet is critical for businesses and organizations in Africa. Google is committed to making the internet more helpful. Since opening its first office in Africa in 2007, Google has been collaborating with partners so that everyone can benefit – through its products and initiatives.
Last year Google held its first Google for Africa where it announced plans to invest $1B over 5 years to support a range of initiatives from improved connectivity to investment in startups to help boost Africa’s digital transformation.
Applications are now open for the second virtual Google for Africa event.
Venue: Google for Africa will be a virtual event held on 5 October kicking off at 9AM GMT.
What to expect: The event will feature a 45-minute keynote address from Google executives from Africa and around the world, as well as 13 masterclass sessions focusing on helpfulness tips and tools for people, businesses, and partners.
