Call for Applications: IgniteHER Entrepreneurship Bootcamp, Cohort 2
Share

The National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) has officially announced that applications are now open for the second cohort of the IgniteHER Entrepreneurship Bootcamp, in collaboration with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).

The bootcamp, aimed at empowering Nigerian female entrepreneurs, is part of NITDA’s efforts under the National Gender Digital Inclusion Strategy (NGDIS) to bridge the gap in access to funding, technology, mentorship, and market opportunities for women.

Speaking on the initiative, NITDA stated, “We are excited to support women entrepreneurs through IgniteHER. This program will equip them with essential business, financial, and digital skills, including exposure to Artificial Intelligence tools.”

The hybrid bootcamp will feature eight engaging sessions, running from July 22 to August 1, 2025, every Tuesday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Participants will enjoy both online learning and in-person sessions at the JICA Nigeria office in Abuja.

Participants will gain improved business planning, financial literacy, and investment readiness, alongside networking and mentorship opportunities with women committed to driving innovation in Nigeria’s tech ecosystem.

NITDA confirmed, “Top-performing businesses will be selected for a special study trip to Japan to attend a startup event. This is a life-changing opportunity for women entrepreneurs ready to scale.”

The application period is open from June 25 to July 6, and interested female founders, co-founders of startups, registered MSMEs, or those with solid business ideas are encouraged to apply.
