If you’re building a tech or innovation-focused startup in Lagos State, the Lagos Innovates Workspace Voucher Program offers a valuable opportunity to access premium coworking spaces at significantly reduced cost. Designed to help early-stage ventures focus on growth without the burden of high rental fees, this programme is part of the broader Lagos Innovates initiative by the Lagos State Employment Trust Fund (LSETF).

👉 Apply here: https://lagosinnovates.grantplatform.com/

What the Workspace Voucher Program Offers (Benefits)

💼 Access to Partner Coworking Spaces

Selected startups receive vouchers that cover 30% to 75% of workspace membership costs at any of Lagos Innovates’ certified partner hubs, such as ReDahlia, LeadSpace, and others providing high-speed internet, meeting rooms, and community services.

🏙 Support for Early-Stage Growth

This programme provides flexible support when capital is tight, helping founders focus on product development, team work, and networking within a professional environment.

🤝 Ecosystem Networking

Workspace vouchers put you in proximity to peers, mentors, events, and learning opportunities — essential ingredients for building a sustainable venture.

Who Can Apply (Eligibility)

To qualify for the Workspace Voucher Program, your startup should meet conditions such as:

✔ Your venture is at ideation and early-revenue stages (not yet incorporated or incorporated less than one year).
✔ Your team consists of co-founders only, with no paid staff.
✔ Your startup generates less than ₦1,000,000 in monthly revenue.
✔ You have not received third-party capital (grants, equity, or debt).

These criteria help prioritise support for founders who truly need infrastructure-related support at critical early phases.

How the Program Works (Selection & Support)

  • Competitive and merit-based: Applications are scored by an expert panel considering market potential, team strength, traction, and recommendations.
  • Voucher coverage: The award typically subsidises a large share of coworking fees for 3 to 12 months, depending on stage and partner agreements.
  • Partner network: Redeem vouchers at partner hubs that provide infrastructure, utilities, collaboration spaces, and professional services.

Recent recipients like Kappa Click have used the vouchers to expand operations and deepen their ecosystem presence, highlighting how meaningful the support can be for scaling founders.

How to Apply (Step-by-Step)

  1. Visit the official application portal:
  2. Create or log in to your account on the site.
  3. Complete the online application form:
    • Describe your startup, team, and product vision.
    • Share current stage details, revenue figures, and traction (if any).
    • Add co-founder information and any relevant portfolio links.
  4. Submit before the stated deadline on the portal.

This is free to apply and does not require any payment.
