Call For Applications: Lagos State Digital Scholarship Program For Nigerians

Welcome to the 8thGear Digital Skills Project proudly brought to you in partnership with the United States Africa Development Foundation (USADF) and the Lagos State Employment Trust Fund (LSETF) Scholarship program, with implementation support from Innkeeper Talent Accelerator.

The Lagos State Empowerment Trust Fund offers a life-changing opportunity for aspiring individuals like you through the Lagos State Digital Scholarship.

The primary objective of this program was to tackle youth unemployment in Lagos by enhancing job skills and employment opportunities in the business support and information technology sectors.

With these funds, 8thGear covered various training costs for their students, including course tuition, training expenses, and placement allowances. They also allocated funds for administrative fees and provided staff training on financial management and grant procedures.

Eligibility Requirements

To be considered for the Lagos State Trust Fund Digital Scholarship, you must:

  • Be resident in Lagos with a LASRRA ID.
  • Have a valid Tax Identification Number (TIN).
  • Have a minimum SSCE qualification.
  • Aged 18-35 with the commitment to attend the 10-week training.
  • Have basic computing knowledge and access to a device for home practice.
  • Available for Training and internship for the next 6 – 9 months.
