Call For Applications: Make-IT In Africa Growth Hacking program (For SMEs and Startups)

This Growth Hacking program will help you learn a new way to grow your business, adopt a growth mindset, and acquire the knowledge needed to boost sales and grow your company.

Growth Hacking?

Growth Hacking Marketing begun through tech companies like Facebook, Dropbox and Hotmail as a method and methodology to scale quickly using smart and cost-effective marketing tactics. It blends creativity, analytical thinking, engineering, and data analysis to achieve any/all business and marketing goals.

In other words, Growth Hacking is data-driven digital marketing that uses rapid experimentation and low-budget tactics to determine the most effective ways to grow a business. In growth hacking, paid ads are just the enabler not the main digital strategy.

Program Outline

Throughout this Growth Hacking program, we will select 40 startups to develop the capacities needed to achieve exponential growth of their Marketing, Sales, and Product KPIs. Each Startup will have to participate with a minimum of two members and at least one executive team member must commit to actively participate during the full program. The program will be undertaken in 3 key phases:

  • Selection Process:

The selection process will capture, evaluate, and understand the start-ups’ challenges and biggest growth levers as well as identify the startups growth level and needs. All these to secure that each startup will get most of the program.

  • Capacity Development:

A 3-month capacity development of masterclasses, hands-on workshops, and peer group discussions for 40 start-ups in Growth Hacking with practical content, proven tools, and real-world case studies to up-skill the start-up teams and develop a working growth strategy with action steps through.

  • 1-to-1 Coaching:

Coaching of 20 promising Startups to implement their Growth Strategy and Monitoring the results of the implementation as impacting their sales, marketing, and product KPIs for 2 months.

Eligibility

 This program is right for you If;

  • You are a for-profit business legally registered in any of the sub-Saharan African countries.
  • You have got a team of at least two people.
  • You have a digital product or service on the market.
  • You have a validated product and selling to customers in an early market stage, or in a growth market stage as scaling to other markets.
  • You are generating proven revenue and have the potential to scale.
