Call For Applications: NIPES Engineering and Science Scholarship 2025 For Nigerians (Up to N1 Million)

The Nigerian Institution of Professional Engineers and Scientists (NIPES) proudly announces its ₦1,000,000 Scholarship Program for aspiring engineers and scientists.

The NIPES Scholarship shows the organization is committed to fostering talent and promoting inclusivity in the fields of engineering and science globally.

Seize this opportunity and submit your application as soon as possible before the deadline.

Eligibility

To be considered for the NIFESS Scholarship 2025, you must:

  • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited higher institution.
  • Studying science or engineering-related courses.
  • Open to students in 100-level and above.
  • Mandatory: Applicants must complete at least one free NIPES online course and explain the skills learned in their personal statement.

Priority Consideration:
NIPES student members will be given priority in the selection process. Non-members are encouraged to join NIPES to enhance their chances of selection.

Candidates will be evaluated based on:

  • NIPES student membership status.
  • Quality and content of the personal statement.
  • Demonstrated passion for engineering/science.
  • Completion of a NIPES course and explanation of learned skills.
  • Alignment with NIPES values and mission.

Benefits

  • Total Scholarship Amount: ₦1,000,000
  • Number of Awards: 5
  • Amount per Recipient: ₦200,000
  • Duration: One academic year
  • Certification of completion of online program.

Application Process

To apply for the NIPES Engineering and Science Scholarship, interested and qualified candidates should;

  1. Register on the NIPES website as a student member (for non-members) here
  2. Complete a free NIPES online course of your choice here.
  3. Submit your statement (500-750 words), explaining the skills you learned from the course and how they apply to your academic or career goals here. NB. Provide proof of enrollment and student ID and Include your NIPES membership number (if applicable).

Personal Statement Guidelines:

Your personal statement should cover:

  • Your background and educational journey.
  • Your passion for engineering/science.
  • Academic and extracurricular achievements.
  • Challenges you’ve overcome.
  • Career goals and alignment with NIPES’s mission.
  • Skills gained from the NIPES course: Describe the skills you learned from the free NIPES course and how they contribute to your academic or career development
