NLNG is inviting applications from eligible first-year undergraduates for the 2025 NLNG Undergraduate Scholarship Scheme (UGSS). This initiative is part of the organisation’s commitment to supporting quality education and nurturing the next generation of leaders. The scholarship is designed to help exceptional students in Nigerian universities excel academically and contribute meaningfully to national development.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
• Be a citizen of Nigeria and currently residing in the country.
• Be a full-time first-year undergraduate student in the 2025/2026 academic session at a federal or state university.
• Have a minimum of five O’Level credits, including Mathematics and English, in one sitting (WASSCE, SSCE or NECO).
• Have scored 200 and above in the JAMB UTME.
• Be between 18 and 25 years old at the time of application.
• Not be a beneficiary of any other scholarship, grant or bursary.
• Not be a spouse, child, ward or direct relative of an NLNG staff member.

Selection Process
• Eligible applicants will be invited for a computer-based Online Proctored Selection Test.
• Only shortlisted candidates will receive the test invitation.
• Successful candidates from the test will be asked to submit additional required documents.
• Final scholarship awards will be granted only to applicants who meet all eligibility and selection requirements.
