The NAIJA Youth Entrepreneurship Network (NYEN), in partnership with Street Project Foundation (SPF), is inviting applications for the Creative Business Pitch Competition, which will take place during the Do What You Love Festival. The competition seeks to provide young entrepreneurs with a platform to showcase innovative ideas, receive expert feedback, and compete for financial support to grow their businesses.
The winning pitch will receive a cash award of one million naira. Beyond the prize, participants will gain access to mentorship, industry exposure, and valuable networking opportunities.
The event is scheduled for Friday, 3rd October 2025 at Emerald Hall, The Zone, Plot 9, Gbagada Industrial Scheme, beside UPS, Gbagada-Oworonshoki Expressway, Lagos. Proceedings will commence at 10:00 am.
Eligibility
- The competition is open to young Nigerians between the ages of 18 and 35 who have a business idea or an existing venture with creative and innovative potential.
- Applicants must demonstrate a clear vision of how their idea can be developed into a sustainable business.
- Both individuals and teams are eligible to apply.
- Participants must be available to attend the competition physically on the day of the event.
Selection Criteria
- Applications will be reviewed based on originality, feasibility, and potential for impact.
- Judges will also consider how innovative the idea is, the clarity of the business model, and the ability of the entrepreneur to communicate their vision effectively.
- Shortlisted applicants will be invited to pitch before a panel of experts at the event.
