Call for Applications: SheAscends Growth Capital for Women Entrepreneurs in Nigeria (Up to ₦100 Million Grant)
Share

The Funke Jones Foundation has launched SheAscends Growth Capital, a grant program designed to support women entrepreneurs in Nigeria with funding, capacity building, and strategic business support. This initiative offers eligible founders the chance to access up to ₦100 million in growth capital, helping them scale operations, expand market reach, and accelerate business impact.

Why This Opportunity Matters

Access to early-stage and growth capital remains one of the biggest barriers for women-led businesses in Nigeria. SheAscends Growth Capital aims to reduce that gap by providing equity-free grants alongside strategic support, enabling women entrepreneurs to fuel growth initiatives without giving up ownership or incurring debt.

This programme supports the broader vision of inclusive economic participation, women’s empowerment, and sustainable business development across sectors.

Who Should Apply (Eligibility Criteria)

SheAscends Growth Capital is open to women entrepreneurs who meet the following core criteria:

✔ Female founder or co-founder of a registered business in Nigeria
✔ Business should be operational and generating revenue (proof may be required)
✔ The business demonstrates growth potential, scalability, or social impact
✔ Founder must be actively involved in day-to-day business operations
✔ A clear business case or plan outlining how grant funding will accelerate growth

Specific eligibility requirements and sector priorities may be listed in detail on the application portal.
