Call For Applications: Startup Innovation Hub Business Catalyst Incubation Program 2025 For Nigerians

Are you an ambitious entrepreneur with a groundbreaking idea? Do you dream of building the next big thing? Start Innovation Hub is excited to announce the launch of their Incubation program THE BUSINESS CATALYST! This 12-week intensive program is designed to help early-stage startups innovating around the Blue Economy refine their ideas, build scalable products, and take their businesses to the next level.

Join a game-changing incubation journey with Start Innovation Hub and turn your vision into a scalable venture shaping the future of our oceans and water-based economies.

Eligibility

To be considered for the program, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Stage: Early-stage startups (pre-seed to seed stage) with a validated idea or prototype solving a problem around Blue Economy.
  • Team: Minimum of 3 persons and maximum of 5 with complementing skills. You must have at least one developer in your team. At least one founder must be fully committed to the startup.
  • Innovation: The startup must offer an innovative solution to a real-world problem in the Blue Economy sector.
  • Scalability: The business model should have potential for high growth and scalability.
  • Location: Open to startups across Nigeria, but founders must be available to participate in-person at the Start Innovation Hub Uyo headquarters.

  • Workshops & Training: Hands-on sessions on business strategy, product development, funding, and scaling.

  • Pitch Development: Professional support to create a winning pitch deck.
  • Resource Library: Access to templates, tools, and reading materials to support your startup journey.
  • Co-Working Space: Free access to their co-working facilities during the program.
  • Alumni Network: Membership to their alumni network for ongoing support and collaboration.

Application Process 

Prepare Your Application

–  A 1-page executive summary of your startup idea.

–  A 1-minute video pitch

–  Your business model canvas (if available).

–  Details of your team (names, roles, and LinkedIn profiles).

Submit Your Application

–  Fill out the application form and upload your documents.

–  Ensure all materials are submitted before the deadline: 25th May 2025.

Selection Process

–  Applications will be reviewed by a panel of experts.

–  Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview.

–  Final selection will be announced by 30th May 2025.
