Call for Applications: The FATE Institute Fellows Program

The FATE Institute Fellows Program is a 2-year fellowship program designed to bring together policy experts, economists and academia to support entrepreneurship policy reform processes that will address key gaps limiting the potential of the Nigerian entrepreneurship ecosystem.

Following the launch of the pioneer cohort in 2022, we are happy to announce the call for applications for the next cohort.

Eligibility

  • A passion to work directly on policy issues that impact the entrepreneurship ecosystem in Nigeria
  • Academic rigor to engage in developing data, policy briefs, thought-leadership and reports
  • Ability to engage in policy discourses and advocacy
  • Ability to actively engage with public sector on the implementation of policy recommendations highlighted in policy briefs
  • A strong academic background which includes an ongoing or completed PhD or Masters degree in economics, business, entrepreneurship and/or related fields
  • Relevant experience on policy processes, entrepreneurship ecosystem structures/segments, macro and micro economic indices etc.

  • First Level Application opens: Nov 14
  • First Level Application closes: Jan 12
  • Shortlisted candidates contacted: Jan 30 – 31
  • Second level application opens: Jan 30 – 31
  • Deadline for second level application: Feb 14
  • Feedback to candidates: Feb 23 – Feb 24
  • Interviews: March 4 – March 8
  • Announcement of Fellows: March 18 – March 19
  • Graduation of Pioneer cohort/Induction of new cohort: March 29
