Call For Applications: The Sustainable Enterprise Challenge Program 2024

This Program aims to support young Lagos residents with the practical skills, knowledge, and confidence to succeed as entrepreneurs. The Sustainable Enterprise Challenge Programme is an initiative of the British Council and Prince’s Trust International implemented by Nerdzfactory Company aimed at equipping young people with a valuable toolbox of skills relevant to both future careers and personal growth.

About the Program

The Sustainable Enterprise Challenge Programme is targeted towards Lagos residents aged 18 – 35 years old with 0-1 year of business experience who are interested in entrepreneurship and acquiring skills to be employable. The program objectives include equipping participants with skills development, mentorship and coaching, and business ideation development.

Some highlighted activities are:

  • The Sustainable Enterprise Challenge Bootcamp
  • The Sustainable Enterprise Challenge Workshop
  • Mentorship Sessions
  • Opportunity to pitch for a grant

The Bootcamp, Workshop and Session will equip participants with practical and hands-on knowledge, skills and resources that they need to build sustainable businesses. The program will close with a pitch/grant competition.

Eligibility

  • Open to young people between the ages of 18-35 years;
  • Aspiring entrepreneurs;
  • Existing entrepreneurs with an annual turnover;
  • Applicants could be young graduates, Final-year students; Unemployed youth, or NYSC Corp members.

Application

Venue of Classes: Physical classes will be held at Nerdzfactory Company HQ in Ogudu GRA, Lagos. Virtual classes will be held on Zoom.

Deadline: January 12, 2024
