Call For Applications: USADF African Women Entrepreneurs Program Reimagined 2024 (Award: $50,000 – $100,000)

The United States African Development Foundation (USADF), in partnership with the United States Department of State Africa Bureau, invites applications for the 2024 African Women Entrepreneurs Program-Reimagined grant.  This is the second application cycle for this grant and only applicants from the following countries may apply: Namibia; Mauritania; Senegal; Cote d’Ivoire; Malawi; Uganda; and Zambia.

Award

Award: USD$50,000 – USD$100,000 to each of the selected winners

Eligibility

Applicants must be woman-owned to be considered and 100% African-owned and managed; legally registered and operating in the country from which they make an application, with basic functional management and financial controls for at least 3 years and a banking history of no less than 12 months.

  • A majority (OVER 50 percent) of women applicant-owned and managed
  • 100 percent African-owned
  • In operation and legally registered for at least three years
  • The business is located and operates in a designated USADF program country
  • Successful UEI approval
  • Proposal for use of grant money
  • Business owners are not government employees
  • Income generating entity (cannot be not for profit)

Required Documents

  • Ownership or Shareholder documents
  • Registration
  • A confirmation email of approved UEI from SAM.gov

All applications must be submitted by email to [email protected]  no later than midnight on January 21, 2024.

Deadline: 21st January, 2024.
