Call for Applications: WASH Social Impact Incentives for Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene For African Enterprises

Through the Social Impact Incentives (SIINC) model, developed under the Impact-Linked Fund for WASH (ILF for WASH) and supported by Roots of Impact, enterprises receive time-bound payments for achieving independently verified outcomes. SIINC support has already proven its power to scale sustainable solutions and is a smart, flexible way to grow your business while deepening your impact.

Requirements

Eligible enterprises must fulfil the following requirements:

• Be based and/or active in Asia, Sub-Saharan Africa or MENA region

• Be operational for at least three years

• Be in the process of raising investment(s) or have concrete prospects to do so of at least EUR 500,000 for drinking water and menstrual hygiene enterprises, or at least EUR 250,000 for sanitation enterprises

• Have a well-defined business model and strong revenue model, regardless of the legal form

• Have reached or have short-term plans for financial sustainability (break-even point and profitability projections)

• Focusing on water, sanitation and/or hygiene (WASH) with emphasis on impact on low-income communities, gender and/or climate

• Impact measurement and management system already in place
