Call for Applications: Women Entrepreneurship Development Program (WEDP) – Cohort 2

Applications are now open for Cohort 2 of the Women Entrepreneurship Development Program (WEDP), an initiative supported by the Mastercard Foundation in partnership with TAFTA – Terra Academy for the Arts.

The program is designed to equip women entrepreneurs with the skills, tools, mentorship, and accountability support needed to build sustainable and scalable businesses.

Why This Program Matters
Women-led businesses often face gaps in access to training, mentorship, and growth capital. The WEDP bridges this gap by combining capacity building, mentorship, and practical business support, enabling women entrepreneurs to move from ideas to impact-driven enterprises.

 

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Be a Lagos TAFTA alumna
• Be interested in entrepreneurship or currently running a business
• Be willing to commit fully to the 3-day bootcamp and post-program mentorship
• Be open to business growth, accountability, and structured learning

 

Benefits

Selected participants will benefit from:

• Business training and coaching
• 2 months of mentorship after the bootcamp
• Business registration support
• Practical business tools and frameworks
• Pitch deck development
• Growth and accountability support
• Access to a supportive community of women entrepreneurs
