Young innovators of Nigeria beacons all innovators across Nigeria to conceive, develop, and present innovative products along with clean energy and climate change solutions, within the two-day

The National Innovation Hackathon is one of the vital programs that will take place during the Technology Ecosystem Dialogue (TED) Summit organized by Young Innovators of Nigeria (YIN) in commemoration of the Tenth Anniversary (Yin@10). A lot of funders and industry partners are interested in NIH to pick out and fund best innovative products.

All that have innovative ideas should build an MVP prototype of the idea ready for presentation. you will be required to fill out a Pitch Deck Form where you put the image of the product.

All that have innovative ideas should build an MVP prototype of the idea ready for presentation. you will be required to fill a Pitch Deck Form where you put the image of the product.

Team Formation

A team is made up of 2 to 4 interdisciplinary members. If you hatched your idea alone, you can still apply, but we will add a team to you if the idea is selected.

Selection

All submitted ideas will be reviewed and vetted fairly. Selected Teams will be invited to Abuja for the competition.

Whats Next?

The Best three products will be showcased at the TEDS. Industry partners are allowed to choose any product within or outside the best three for funding or sponsorship/co-ownership.

 Idea Submission Deadline: September 30th, 2024

 Notification to selected Teams 8th October 2024

 Hackathon Event: 16th October, 2024

Venue: Cosmopolitan University Abuja (#432 Yakubu James Pam, Ali Muhammad Zarah St, opposite National Hospital, Central Business District, FCT Abuja)
