CitizensNexus Mentorship Program: Building Digital Changemakers for Sustainable Impact Cohort 2025

CitizensNexus is a mentorship and innovation initiative designed to empower young changemakers with the skills, tools and mindset to drive community impact through technology, sustainability and civic leadership. Rooted in the principles of the Sustainable Development Goals, the programme focuses on practical innovation shaped through mentorship, design thinking and data-driven advocacy.

The CitizensNexus Mentorship Programme is a three-month hybrid journey, running from November 2025 to January 2026. It will bring together a founding cohort of 15 passionate young citizens who will engage in structured mentorship, collaborative projects and hands-on training to design solutions that advance social impact in their communities.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Applicants must be between 18 and 25 years old.
  • They must demonstrate a strong interest in sustainability, technology, leadership or civic innovation.
  • They must be willing to fully commit to the sessions and assigned tasks.
  • Basic digital literacy and readiness to learn new tools are required.

Benefits

  • Participants will receive personalised mentorship from experienced practitioners.
  • They will gain the capacity to design and implement a community-focused project.
  • They will have access to exclusive digital tools and a network of changemakers, innovators and development actors.
  • Successful applicants will be recognised as part of the CitizensNexus Founding Cohort 2025.
