The Deji Alli ARM Young Talent Award (DAAYTA) 2024 has concluded with a remarkable N12 million award for the first-place winner in the tech competition category. This annual competition serves as a platform to identify, support, and showcase innovative young entrepreneurs in Nigeria, offering funding, mentorship, and networking opportunities.

The N12 million award encompasses various support measures, including business plan development, entrepreneurial education at the Pan Atlantic University’s Enterprise Development Centre (EDC) in Lagos, and acceleration support through a reputable entrepreneurial hub in Lagos, spanning over a one-year period.

In its latest edition, DAAYTA 2024 placed a special emphasis on recognizing exceptional talent and creativity, particularly highlighting the achievements of women entrepreneurs who have excelled in leadership roles. With a focus on nurturing young entrepreneurs with innovative and sustainable ideas, the competition attracted over 750 applications. Following a rigorous evaluation process, seven businesses were selected from the final top twelve, benefiting from DAAYTA’s preparatory workshops.

The award not only provides a significant financial boost but also equips winners with the necessary skills, knowledge, and resources to further develop their ventures and contribute to the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Nigeria.
