Dana Motors Introduces EV, CNG into Nigeria’s Auto Market
Share

Dana Motors Limited has expanded its portfolio of eco-friendly vehicles by introducing more electric vehicles (EVs) and compressed natural gas (CNG) cars and buses to the Nigerian market.

In a statement, the company emphasized its commitment to reducing carbon emissions and promoting sustainable transportation solutions. “We are proud to be leading the charge in sustainable transportation solutions in Nigeria,” said Jacky Hathiramani, Managing Director of Dana Motors Limited. He highlighted the recent release of 27 locally assembled 45-seater CNG buses from the company’s advanced vehicle assembly plant in Lagos.

Hathiramani also revealed plans to release EVs soon, aligning with President Tinubu’s push for a transition to clean and renewable energy. The initiative aims to promote environmental sustainability while driving economic growth.

Since its establishment in 2002, Dana Motors has been a trailblazer in Nigeria’s automotive sector, offering innovative solutions such as luxury vehicles and auto finance schemes that make car ownership more accessible. Under Hathiramani’s leadership, the company has received multiple awards, including his recognition as Auto Personality of the Year by the Nigerian Auto Journalists Association (NAJA).

As Nigeria balances economic growth with environmental challenges, Dana Motors’ dedication to innovation and corporate responsibility underscores its role as a leader in driving a sustainable future
