As part of efforts to support business owners in navigating the increasingly challenging economy, Daystar Christian Centre’s business community is organizing a business boot camp aimed at significantly boosting capacity for business owners.

Themed “Blossoming Through Chaotic Times,” the boot camp is scheduled for Thursday and Friday, June 27–28, 2024, at Plot A3C, Ikosi Road, Oregun, Ikeja, Lagos.

Sam Adeyemi, the senior pastor of the church, highlighted the importance of this initiative, saying, “We are in dire economic times globally, and these have a harrowing impact on most businesses. For over a decade, Daystar Business Academy (DBA) has empowered countless business owners. Recognizing the current economic challenges, we are bringing our DBA alumni, DBC members, and entrepreneurs, as well as business owners from the wider society, to this intensive two-day boot camp.”

The Daystar Business Community (DBC) is a vibrant network of faith-driven business leaders dedicated to being role models for economic and social transformation. Their creed emphasizes that business can be a force for good, creating prosperity and opportunity for all.

Dr. Blessing Ayemhere, Head of the Daystar Business Community, shared insights into the event: “Our upcoming business boot camp is a unique opportunity designed to equip participants with the tools they need to thrive in today’s complex economic climate. This boot camp is designed for both startups and established businesses.”

Prominent speakers at the program include Dr. Gabriel Ogbechie, Group Managing Director of Rainoil Limited; Dr. Akinwande Ademosu, co-founder of Bravewood Limited; Gbenga Afolabi, Group CEO of Hazon Holdings; and Comfort Aruosa-Osemwegie, founder and CEO of DealRoom Global. The recently concluded pre-boot camp event also featured Femi Adeoti, GMD and co-founder of Routelink Group.

The boot camp aims to empower business owners with practical knowledge and strategies to navigate and succeed during these challenging economic times.
