Eyone, a Senegalese e-health startup, has raised $1 million to bolster its leadership in digital health and expand its operations across Africa.
The company’s flagship offering is a medical interoperability platform that enables healthcare professionals and patients to access real-time medical records. Earlier this year, Eyone partnered with Senegalese authorities to launch the Unique Shared Patient File project, ensuring secure and seamless access to medical data throughout patients’ care journeys.
The funding includes $855,000 from the Sonatel Group’s investment fund, VIF, and $145,000 from BICIS. Eyone plans to use the funds to strengthen its position in digital health and accelerate its continental growth.
Focused on improving healthcare quality and accessibility, particularly for underserved populations, Eyone addresses the increasing demand for reliable digital health solutions in Africa.
Sonatel Group reiterated its commitment to supporting innovative ventures tackling healthcare challenges, highlighting Eyone’s role in leveraging technology to drive better health outcomes across the continent.
