The NEXT TITAN is set to return to your screens with a groundbreaking Season 9, having recorded significant successes with its eight previous editions, the ninth will see aspiring entrepreneurs engaging in healthy rivalry for the grand prize money.
The ninth Season, tagged ‘The game-changer’, which will be hosted by Stephanie Coker, is set for contestants who have game changing ideas and attitudes.
At the unveiling of the new season at a media gathering in Lagos during the week, Mide Akinlaja, the Executive Producer of the show, noted that this year’s edition of the entrepreneurial reality show is designed to push the entrepreneurial spirit of young Nigerians, to break more grounds in terms of the search, explore quality of the business ideas, presentation, excitement and prizes.
Like other seasons, the Season 9 will run for 10 weeks, and will give young ambitious entrepreneurs an opportunity to display their business ideas and battle one another for a grand prize of N20, and with the runners-up having N5 million.
The audition process for Season 9 will begin with the competitors presenting their business concepts in four important Nigerian cities: Abuja, Port Harcourt, Enugu, and Lagos.
Before the 18 final contestants with the best ideas were chosen to live together in the Titan House and compete by completing weekly business tasks and challenges around the city of Lagos for 10 weeks on television, as well as with weekly evictions during eviction shows in the Titan boardroom, the Top 50 would be chosen for Top 50 Boot Camp after the audition.
Top Nigerian businessmen will serve as the show’s judges, and they will use this opportunity to mentor both the contestants and the show’s millions of fans.
The show’s headline sponsor, LUNO, a major international cryptocurrency exchange with operations in over 40 nations, was announced. Platinum sponsors are Heritage Bank Plc and Tingo Mobile.
The gold sponsor is IPNX, a fast growing ICT company, SIFAX Group and Haven Homes are the silver sponsors, while Lifemate Furniture and Nikky Taurus Limited are the supporting sponsors.
