Share

The Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC) on Tuesday sealed the headquarters of Ikeja Electric Distribution Company (IKEDC) located in the Alausa area of Lagos State.

The enforcement action, carried out by FCCPC operatives in green jackets, saw the main entrance of the building sealed, leaving IKEDC employees gathered outside the premises.

As of the time of filing this report, the specific reasons behind the Commission’s regulatory action had not yet been disclosed. FCCPC officials on-site did not offer immediate comments on the development.

More details to follow as the story unfolds.
