FCMB Rewards Customers with Millions in Ongoing Promo to Promote Savings Culture
Share

Four customers of First City Monument Bank (FCMB) have each won N1 million in the latest draw of the bank’s ongoing Millionaire Promo, now in its tenth season. The promo is designed to reward loyal customers while promoting a savings culture aimed at fostering financial security and long-term investment readiness.

In the most recent draw, held last month, the bank also awarded 112 customers with cash prizes of up to N100,000, selected through a live, computerized raffle process. Winners emerged from different regions across Nigeria, reflecting the nationwide reach of the initiative.

One of the million-naira winners, a Lagos-based fashion designer, expressed her joy at winning on her birthday, noting that the funds would be used to expand her tailoring business. Another winner, an entrepreneur from Kaduna, highlighted how the cash reward came at a crucial time, thanking the bank for bringing light into his life and pledging continued loyalty.

A businessman from Ibadan who also won N1 million described the win as unexpected and uplifting, stating that the prize would be invested in his renewable energy venture. The excitement extended beyond just the latest winners. A long-time FCMB customer shared how her earlier win of a plasma TV in a previous season had inspired her appreciation for the bank’s customer-focused efforts.

According to FCMB’s Divisional Head of Personal Banking, the promo underscores the bank’s commitment to building financial resilience among Nigerians. He described the campaign as more than just a cash giveaway, saying it is about rewarding loyalty and promoting a culture of savings that can lead to personal growth and financial stability.

The Regional Head for Lagos, Omowunmi Kalejaiye, added that the promo serves as a platform to build trust and support customer aspirations. She encouraged winners to treat their prizes as seed capital to drive meaningful progress in their lives.

Since launching Season 10 in December 2024, the FCMB Millionaire Promo has produced eight millionaires and over 1,000 additional winners of smaller cash prizes. To qualify, customers are required to increase their account balance by at least N10,000 and maintain it for 30 days. Each additional N10,000 saved improves the chances of winning.

The campaign runs until September 2025 and is open to both new and existing savings account holders. Dormant account holders can also join by reactivating their accounts. The nationwide nature of the draws ensures equal opportunity for all participants.
