Fidelity Bank Donates Ten Tax Hubs to Enhance Revenue Collection in Anambra
Share

Fidelity Bank Plc has donated ten tax booths to the Anambra State Internal Revenue Service (AIRS) to bolster the efficiency of revenue collection in the state. These facilities, known as the Fidelity Bank AIRS Small-Tax Hubs, are secure, user-friendly self-service terminals designed for seamless banking transactions.

Equipped with both mains and solar power sources, the tax hubs ensure continuous operation and enable real-time transaction processing through internet connectivity.

During the donation ceremony, Mr. Nosa Orumwense, the Regional Bank Head for Awka at Fidelity Bank, emphasized the bank’s commitment to delivering tailored solutions for its customers. He stated, “For nearly four decades, Fidelity Bank has been dedicated to meeting the banking needs of Nigerians with customized solutions. This donation to AIRS is a first-of-its-kind initiative in Nigeria and will greatly enhance the tax payment and collection experience for individuals and the Anambra State government.”

Orumwense expressed gratitude for the partnership with the government, pledging further support in the future.

Mr. Greg Ezeilo, chairman of AIRS, lauded the donation as “a dream come true” and assured that the tax hubs would be effectively utilized.

Fidelity Bank is recognized as one of Nigeria’s leading commercial banks, serving over 8.3 million customers through its 251 business offices in Nigeria and the United Kingdom, as well as through digital banking channels.
