Firm Rolls Out Empowerment -Focused Support to Strengthen African SMEs
Share

Organizers of the Mentor Matchup Challenge 7.0 have announced an expanded suite of benefits for Small and Medium Enterprises attending this year’s summit, positioning the event as one of the most resource-driven SME gatherings of the year. A major highlight is the provision of up to fifty thousand dollars in Amazon Web Services cloud credits for eligible businesses, a contribution aimed at lowering the cost of digital transformation for Nigerian enterprises. The organisers say the support is intended to help SMEs adopt global-standard cloud tools that can streamline operations, enhance productivity and strengthen their digital presence.

Beyond the technical incentives, the 2025 edition of the summit will deliver complimentary professional headshots and tablets for entrepreneurs, a move designed to improve the branding and operational readiness of African founders. The organisers note that many emerging businesses struggle with visibility and presentation when engaging investors, partners and international markets, making this support an essential part of the summit experience.

These benefits reinforce the event’s broader mission of providing practical, hands-on guidance rather than theoretical sessions. Entrepreneurs will interact directly with more than thirty industry leaders and mentors who will offer structured one-on-one advisory sessions tailored to real business challenges. The summit will also feature over thirty exhibitors presenting a range of innovative African brands, creating a dynamic marketplace for peer learning, networking and commercial opportunities.

By integrating high-value technology resources with mentorship, branding support and market exposure, the summit deepens its focus on capacity building while promoting content, community, collaboration and access to capital. The goal is to equip entrepreneurs with the tools and insights needed to rethink their strategies and position themselves competitively within the African Continental Free Trade Area.

The two-day event will take place on Thursday, December 4 and Friday, December 5, 2025, at the Oriental Hotel in Victoria Island, Lagos. It is a ticketed summit with various categories available for both local and international participants.
