FIRS Launches Recruitment Drive for Young Graduates as Tax Officers

FIRS Boss Urges Caution on Taxing Poor Nigerians, Advocates Strategy for Informal Sector Integration

The Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) has announced a recruitment exercise to hire young graduates for the positions of Tax Officers (Officer I and Officer II). The announcement was made on the agency’s official X (formerly Twitter) account on October 21, 2024.

FIRS stated that additional details about the application process, including deadlines and submission requirements, will be posted on its official website shortly. 

 

The agency seeks candidates who demonstrate integrity and a strong commitment to professional growth, as well as strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. 

As an equal opportunity employer, FIRS encourages all eligible candidates, regardless of gender, ethnicity, or background, to apply for these positions.
