Approximately 2.5 million Nigerians have been forced to flee their homes since the floods began, and farmers are estimating losses of billions of naira due to the spread of avian flu and other devastation caused by the storm.

Agripreneur Maryam Yakubu, CEO of Mainstream Lime-light, discusses “How the Federal Government may lessen the nefarious impacts of the flood on farmers” in the impacted areas.
