Global Startup Awards (GSA) appoints Nigeria Country Partner

Global Startup Awards (GSA), the largest independent Startup Ecosystem in the World with Headquarters in Budapest and Copenhagen and presence in 114 Countries across four Nations recently appointed MSME Business Development Services Limited as its Nigeria Country Partner.

Global Startup Awards is partnering with the Global Innovation Initiative Group (GIIG) to facilitate the implementation of a recently launched USD100 million Venture Capital Fund to support Startup innovations across the World.

In recent times, Startups in Nigeria are beginning to position themselves and creating impact in the Nigeria MSME Sector through fostering innovative solutions.

Apparently, Driven by the potentials that there present, Startups in Nigeria are beginning to gain attention and traction from Venture Capitalists across the World.

The venture capital funding opportunity presented by the Global Startup Awards (GSA) to the Nigeria Startup ecosystem speaks to the potentials of innovative solutions in the Country.

The appointment of a MSME Business Development Services Limited, a Federal Government of Nigeria Certified and Licenced Business Development Service Provider (BDSP) is coming on the heals of the emerging focus on providing innovative Business Development Support Services for more innovative Startups with growth potentials and position for access to venture capital funding opportunities.

Speaking to the Media, Dr. Peter Ayim the Principal Consultant of MSME Business Development Services Limited expressed appreciation for the opportunity to be part of a global initiative as a Country Partner.

He stated that his organisation is well positioned to contribute to the accelerated development and growth of MSMEs in Nigeria.
