Guaranty Trust Bank (GTBank) has informed its customers about an upcoming migration to a new core banking application system, which will temporarily disrupt banking services. This transition, part of the bank’s commitment to enhancing customer experiences through advanced technology, is scheduled to begin on Friday, October 11, 2024.

On that day, all GTBank branches nationwide will close early at 12:00 p.m. and will remain closed throughout the weekend. The branches are expected to reopen at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, October 14, 2024.

Customers should also be aware of potential disruptions to GTBank’s digital banking platforms, including online and mobile banking. These disruptions are expected to occur from 10:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 13, until 9:00 a.m. on Monday, October 14, 2024.

GTBank reassured customers that this upgrade aims to provide more efficient and secure banking services. The bank appreciates its customers’ patience and understanding during this brief service interruption as it works towards delivering a more robust banking experience.
