Share

From April 26 to April 28, 2024, food enthusiasts from across Africa will gather at the GTCentre in Lagos for the Guaranty Trust Holding Company (GTCO) Plc Food and Drink Festival.

This year’s festival promises an exciting lineup of traditional African dishes and innovative fusion cuisines from around the globe. Attendees can indulge in live cooking demonstrations, and tasting sessions, and explore a diverse range of delicious offerings from numerous food retailers.

Celebrating its 7th edition, the festival is renowned as Africa’s largest food and drink festival, uniting millions of food lovers and entrepreneurs to showcase the continent’s rich culinary heritage with vibrant flavors, aromas, and cultures.

Beyond food, the festival offers a family-friendly atmosphere with engaging activities for children. A specially designed play area will entertain the little ones with games and interactive exhibits. Additionally, a children’s baking class will introduce young chefs to the joy of baking, fostering creativity and confidence in the kitchen.

Commenting on the event, Mr. Segun Agbaje, CEO of GTCO Plc, expressed delight in providing a platform that celebrates African cuisine and supports small food businesses amidst current challenges.

GTCO is a leading financial services group with operations across Nigeria, West Africa, East Africa, and the United Kingdom, as well as new ventures in Payment, Funds Management, and Pension Fund Administration.
