Africa’s innovation landscape is about to witness a new wave of transformation as Ideation Hub Africa announces the launch of the African Masterclass Series (AMS) 5.0, a premier capacity-building initiative designed to equip Social Innovators, Social Entrepreneurs, Policy makers, CSR Leaders, Tech-Driven NGO Leaders, Changemakers, Community Mobilizers, Nonprofit Professionals, Impact-Driven Startups and Founders, Youth-Led Organizations and Activists, Development Practitioners, Donor Agencies, Advocacy Specialists, Sustainability Champions, Data and Research Analysts in the Social Sector, Social Impact Investors, Civil Society Organization (CSO) Leaders, Faith-Based Development Leaders, Gender Advocates, Digital Transformation Specialists in Development and Impact-Driven Individuals with the tools and thinking needed to build bold, scalable, and context-relevant solutions for Africa’s emerging markets.

The African Masterclass Series, hosted by Ideation Hub Africa, Africa’s leading public policy and impact advisory firm is an online bootcamp that empowers social 

entrepreneurs, nonprofit professionals, tech startups, and development actors to convert powerful ideas into sustainable impact-driven ventures. Now in its fifth edition, AMS continues to be a free, immersive learning program, connecting thousands of visionaries across the continent to experiential knowledge in social innovation and entrepreneurship.

This year, Ideation Hub Africa is proud to continue its collaboration with The Aspire Coronation Trust (ACT) Foundation, a grant-making nonprofit committed to supporting sustainable social development, and Access Bank, one of Africa’s leading financial institutions with a strong focus on community advancement. Together, they are providing African changemakers and social innovators with critical resources, mentorship, and community to move from concepts to concrete creations that meet the continent’s most urgent and pressing needs.

Speaking at the launch of AMS 5.0 this year, the Executive Director of Ideation Hub Africa,  Mrs. Debola Deji-Kurunmi, said: “At a time when Africa is hungry for transformation, AMS 5.0 comes as a platform to empower those who dare to imagine and build. We are thrilled to walk this journey with visionaries turning ideas into real-world solutions for our evolving markets.”

Furthermore, the CEO of Aspire Coronation Trust Foundation (ACT Foundation), Mrs Osayi Alile also stated that “We believe Africa’s future will be shaped by bold, innovative minds solving the continent’s most pressing challenges. Our partnership with Ideation Hub Africa for AMS 5.0 reflects our commitment to equipping changemakers with the skills, networks, and resources they need to create sustainable impact for generations to come.”

AMS 5.0, themed- “From Concept to Creation: Building Innovative Solutions for Africa’s Emerging Markets,” will kick off on 18th of August 2025 with online application, we encourage participants to put in their best during the application. 

This year’s edition focuses on the unique entrepreneurial and impact opportunities within Africa’s fast-changing economic and social terrain. Participants will explore how to transform abstract concepts into viable products, services, and models that respond to real-life challenges in sectors such as education, health, gender advocacy, agriculture, finance, technology and the creative economy—industries that hold enormous potential for Africa’s future.

Our mission remains to equip them with the skills, knowledge, and tools necessary to move their ideas from ideation to impactful execution. Under the theme “From Concept to Creation: Building Innovative Solutions for Africa’s Emerging Markets,” 

AMS 5.0 presents a transformative 12-module program designed to equip social innovators, NGO leaders, and changemakers with the mindset, tools, and strategies to drive sustainable impact across the continent.

Key modules include innovation in low-resource environments, understanding Africa’s emerging market trends, designing context-specific solutions, human-centered product development & UI/UX, data-driven decision-making, digital marketing, gender equity, MVP-led iteration, systems thinking for scale, and innovative capital raising.

This comprehensive program blends global insights with local realities, empowering participants to create bold, community-rooted solutions while accessing the tools, knowledge, and funding needed to scale impact across Africa and beyond.
