The second edition of the Innovate Pitch and Grant concluded with two Nigerian entrepreneurs seizing the top positions.
OneGrid Energies, a startup revolutionizing rural communities by recycling waste plastic bottles into affordable rechargeable lanterns, claimed the victory, securing a $2000 grant. Meanwhile, Post Paddy, an AI-powered social media management tool empowering small businesses, secured the first runner-up position, receiving $1000.
Organized by Crosspoint Church, this initiative attracted many entrepreneurs from across Nigeria. Among them, six finalists emerged: One Grid Energies, Post Paddy, Thinkbikes, Xavier Technologies, Didactic Media, and Klay Foods. These finalists showcased their innovative ventures at a live pitch event held in Lagos.
Each finalist delivered compelling pitches, highlighting the creativity of their ideas and the disruptive potential of their technologies across various industries.
Ladi Soyombo, the Convener, congratulated the winners, emphasizing Innovate’s role in driving change and fostering growth among the youth.
Under the theme “Inspiring Leadership, Transforming the Future,” the event featured transformational lectures, panel discussions, and a career recruitment session for job seekers. It attracted a diverse audience, including industry experts, entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, tech enthusiasts, and seasoned professionals.
