Katsina, NDDIS Woo Diaspora Funds for MSMEs, Health, Education
Share

The Katsina State Government has signed an MoU with J Williamz Ltd, promoters of the Nigerian Diaspora Direct Investment Summit (NDDIS), to boost social development through diaspora-driven investments.

The agreement, sealed at the Governor’s Office, aims to fund key projects in MSME growth, education, healthcare, and other SDG-aligned sectors.

It follows Katsina’s participation at the NDDIS London Summit in March 2025, where the state pitched its development priorities to international investors.

Prince Bimbo Folayan, NDDIS Founder, said the deal would link the diaspora to high-impact projects. “This MoU connects Nigerians abroad with meaningful opportunities to invest back home,” he noted.

Dignitaries at the event included Dr. Wale Fasanya, former SMEDAN DG and Katsina MSMEs lead consultant, alongside officials from KASEDA and the Governor’s office.

The partnership is expected to unlock new investment channels and accelerate Katsina’s sustainable development agenda.
