Katsina Unveils Initiative to Drive Innovation and Entrepreneurship
Share

Governor Dikko Radda of Katsina State has launched #HackKatsina, a transformative initiative aimed at fostering innovation, entrepreneurship, and sustainable development across the state.

Represented by Naufal Ahmad, Director General of the Katsina State Directorate of ICT (KATDICT), the governor highlighted the program’s focus on turning innovative ideas into scalable startups that address challenges in agriculture, healthcare, green energy, education, and infrastructure.

“#HackKatsina is a three-month program with bootcamps, hackathons, incubation, and pitch competitions. It provides mentorship, tools, and resources to innovators from Katsina’s 34 local governments, building a sustainable innovation ecosystem,” said Ahmad.

In partnership with Kirkira Innovation Hub, the initiative is open to aspiring entrepreneurs ready to shape the state’s future. Applications are available at hackkatsina.ng.

#HackKatsina aligns with Katsina’s digital transformation strategy, reinforcing its position as a hub for knowledge-driven economic growth.
