Nigerian sales technology company, Laddar.Africa, has announced plans to empower one million sales professionals across the continent by 2027 through its digital platform designed for Africa’s offline-first business environment.
According to a statement, the platform aims to solve long-standing challenges in last-mile sales operations by integrating people, data, and field activities into a unified system. This, the company said, will enable businesses to gain full visibility and control over their distributed sales teams.
“Our mission is to bridge the gap between digital tools and real-world sales,” said Laddar.Africa’s Chief Executive Officer, Kelechi Ekeghe. “We’re building systems that reflect how Africa actually sells, through people, relationships, and on-the-ground execution.”
Ekeghe explained that Laddar’s all-in-one platform allows organisations to manage the entire sales lifecycle, from recruiting and verifying agents to tracking performance and paying commissions. The solution also provides digital agent onboarding, real-time field intelligence, automated cash or airtime payouts, and market analytics that help businesses eliminate manual paperwork and reduce inefficiencies.
By digitizing these processes, Laddar.Africa aims to help companies lower operational costs, enhance monitoring, and improve customer acquisition outcomes.
The company’s growing network currently includes over 26,000 verified sales agents, serving clients in financial services, telecommunications, fast-moving consumer goods, and public-sector initiatives.
Analysts say Laddar’s technology could be a game-changer for small and medium-sized enterprises that rely heavily on field agents for product distribution and customer engagement. By streamlining sales management and data collection, the platform offers MSMEs a way to scale efficiently, improve accountability, and compete effectively in an increasingly data-driven market.
