LG K-POP Grand Finale Ignites Lagos with Electrifying Performances

The LG K-POP Grand Finale concluded with a flourish at the Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos, featuring electrifying performances, jaw-dropping special effects, and immense talent from the winners. The highly anticipated event, organized by LG Electronics, saw some of the biggest names in K-POP compete fervently for the ultimate prize, creating an unforgettable experience for the enthusiastic audience.

Dazzling Performances

  The competition, held today, featured 80 incredibly talented performers since April, each leaving no stone unturned in their pursuit of glory.

  ‘Femmeforce’, the 1st runner-up in the dance category, and ‘Movematics’, the 2nd runner-up, delivered outstanding performances.

 

 The event marked a milestone starting from Ibadan, Lagos, Abuja, and Port Harcourt, showcasing the talents of passionate youths.

  The journey culminated in the semi-finals held in these cities, where 18 exceptionally talented teams earned their place in the grand finale.

 

   Mr. Hyoung Sub Ji, Managing Director of LG Electronics West Africa, expressed delight at the event’s success, highlighting the blend of technology and K-POP music.

  He emphasized LG’s commitment to creating deeper relations with Gen Z through innovative products like LG XBOOM and integrated marketing campaigns.

 

   A total of twelve million naira was awarded to the winners. 

 Mamus’ of Port Harcourt won first place in the vocal category, while the dance category was won by ‘Limitless Supreme 6’ from Port Harcourt.

  The first and second runners-up in the vocal category included ‘Kcee’ and ‘Shammah’ from Port Harcourt, while the dance category runners-up were ‘Femmeforce’ and ‘Movematics’ from Lagos.

 

   Mr. Hari Elluru, Head of Corporate Marketing, expressed gratitude to the youth and Gen Z for making the event a grand success. 

   He highlighted LG’s global campaign, “Life’s Good,” and the role of music in uplifting the human spirit.

   The event was hosted by VJ Adams and graced by Nollywood actors Ruth Kadiri and Susan Peters.

  Judging was conducted by Nigerian singer-songwriter Ric Hassani and award-winning dancer Kaffy, who praised the performances.

 

The LG K-POP Grand Finale will be remembered as a testament to the boundless creativity, talent, and technological excellence that LG Electronics consistently delivers. The thunderous applause and praise from the judges solidified the participants’ positions as some of the most talented K-POP artists today, making the event a remarkable celebration of cultural exchange and innovation.
