MAD House by Tikera Africa Offers $10,000 Seed Funding for Creative Entrepreneurs in Africa through LENSBIP Program
Share

MAD House by Tikera Africa is empowering aspiring entrepreneurs and creative professionals in Africa with a remarkable opportunity – a chance to secure $10,000 in seed funding for their creative ventures. Through the Lens-Based Incubator Program (LENSBIP), the company aims to support photographers, digital artists, animators, and filmmakers in launching their creative enterprises.

The LENSBIP application is currently open and free until January 8, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. Applicants, aged 18 to 35, are invited to submit their applications, provided they possess robust creative portfolios and are committed to participating fully in the incubation program, scheduled from January 15 to April 30, 2024.

This groundbreaking initiative offers a three-month incubation period, fostering growth and development for aspiring entrepreneurs engaged in digital art, film, animation, photography, and other lens-based mediums.

Bayo Omoboriowo, the founder of MAD House by Tikera Africa, emphasized that LENSBIP serves as a catalyst for creatives, allowing them to transform visionary ideas into impactful products and services. The program aims to reshape Africa’s narrative by supporting innovative artists utilizing lenses in unique ways.

“Our goal is to cultivate sustainable creative industries, providing financial support, mentorship, and knowledge investment to foster global development,” explained Omoboriowo.

The program will select twenty participants through a competitive application process, focusing on criteria such as business potential, social impact, innovation, and creativity. Those selected will gain access to specialized workshops, industry collaborations, internships, and other tailored activities aimed at refining their skills and launching scalable businesses.

What sets LENSBIP apart is its promise to award participants with seed funding of up to $10,000 to kickstart their creative enterprises. Post-program, participants will present their business plans and prototypes to a panel of judges for further opportunities.

MAD House by Tikera Africa envisions shaping a new wave of creative entrepreneurs, providing the essential resources and guidance needed to establish impactful ventures in the vibrant world of creative arts.
