MoMo, a Payment Service Bank (PSB), in partnership with the Nigerian Association of Small and Medium Enterprises (NASME), is set to empower micro and small businesses in Lagos.

Elsa Muzzolini, MoMo’s Chief Commercial Officer, revealed the program’s objective during a two-day symposium.

The initiative aims to reward active merchants on the MTN MoMo wallet with a N40 million grant, fostering increased engagement among SMEs and strengthening the bank’s relationship with its users.

Abdulrasheed Yerima, President of NASME, lauded the collaboration’s commitment to enhancing growth, innovation, and connectivity within SMEs.

Represented by Vice President Solomon Aderoju, NASME highlighted the exhibition’s synergy with the ‘One Billion Naira Youth and Women Empowerment Fund,’ aligning with the Sustainable Development Goals for 2023.
