Moroccan Startup Washminute Raises USD 600,000 to Revolutionize Eco-Conscious Car Wash Services
Share

Washminute, a Moroccan startup focused on efficient and eco-friendly car wash solutions, has secured USD 600,000 in pre-seed funding. The investment, led by Moroccan venture capital firm Witamax and supported by Tamwilcom, a sports industry angel investor, will help the company tackle water conservation challenges, particularly in regions with increasing water scarcity.

Co-founded by Jean Baptiste Kouatche and Ishak Afrit, Washminute employs innovative methods to reduce water consumption while providing fast, effective car washes. The founders are committed to promoting sustainability in an industry traditionally known for its high water usage.

Since its launch, Washminute has seen steady growth, increasing its monthly revenue by 30% and expanding to seven locations across Casablanca, Marrakech, and Agadir. With this funding, the startup plans to further expand within Morocco and into the MENA region, aiming to set new standards for clean technology and sustainable practices. This expansion aligns with Witamax’s investment strategy to support startups addressing critical environmental issues like water conservation.
