The Nigeria-AfroAsia Small and Medium Enterprises Exhibition Summit (NAASMES) 2024 is gearing up to transform the African SME landscape, set to take place from November 19 to 21, 2024, at the Velodrome, MKO Abiola National Stadium in Abuja.
In line with President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope agenda, the summit focuses on empowering export-oriented SMEs, especially those led by women and youth, to tap into global markets. According to the Inter-ministerial Committee, the event will showcase opportunities across key sectors, including textiles, leather, ICT, agriculture, agro-allied industries, blue economy, aquaculture, solid minerals, and CNG.
In the lead-up to the summit, a pre-event visit to Vietnam on September 29, 2024, is expected to open up international business opportunities for African SMEs and foster relations that can strengthen cross-border collaborations.
“This summit will unlock global market access for African SMEs,” the committee noted, highlighting the significance of this event in driving innovation, creating networking opportunities, and showcasing Africa’s entrepreneurial potential.
NAASMES 2024 will feature interactive workshops, business competitions, and networking sessions with top industry leaders and international delegations, aiming to position African SMEs for global success while contributing to economic diversification and growth.
For African SMEs looking to expand, this summit is a vital platform to connect, collaborate, and compete on the global stage.
