NAHCO Launches Export Centre in Lagos For Business Advancement
Share

The Nigerian Aviation Handling Company PLC (NAHCO) inaugurated its Export Packaging and Processing Centre in Lagos, marking a significant step in strengthening Nigeria’s non-oil exports. Dr. Seinde Fadeni, Chairman of NAHCO’s Board of Directors, expressed gratitude to the Federal Government for its support and urged continued collaboration to overcome challenges in the aviation sector.

Fadeni emphasized NAHCO’s commitment to leading the charge in earning foreign exchange through food exports. He urged the government to convene a stakeholder meeting to explore ways to advance the export of perishables, acknowledging the vital role it plays in the livelihoods and prosperity of many Nigerians.

Highlighting the unique facility built with stakeholders in mind, Fadeni assured all involved parties, including airlines, agents, exporters, and farmers, that NAHCO is prepared for export business. Meanwhile, Indranil Gupta, the Group Managing Director of NAHCO, emphasized the crucial role non-oil exports play in strengthening Nigeria’s economic resilience, generating jobs, and contributing to overall economic development.
