natnudO Foods, the food processing arm of Amo Farm Sieberer Hatchery Limited, has forged a strategic partnership with the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), in a bid to nurture future agricultural leaders and enhance Nigeria’s food security.
As part of its “Natnupreneur University Program,” natnudO Foods generously donated 1,000 broiler chicks, along with feeds and medication, to the university’s Department of Agriculture. This initiative goes beyond simply raising chickens; it aims to empower young minds with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed as agribusiness entrepreneurs.
The Natnupreneur University Programme offers students a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in poultry farming while contributing to their personal development and the university’s growth. Throughout the program, students will be involved in every aspect of broiler management, from ensuring proper ventilation and biosecurity to optimizing feed and maintaining meticulous records.
To ensure the success of the program, agribusiness experts and seasoned professionals like Abodunrin Wasiu Adeyemi, Natnupreneur Operations Manager at natnudO Foods, and Alaba Yunusa, Technical Assistant to the Group Managing Director of Amo Farm Sieberer Hatchery Limited, personally guided 1,600 students through the technical aspects of poultry farming.
This collaborative effort between natnudO Foods and FUNAAB exemplifies a commitment to fostering agricultural innovation and equipping the next generation of agribusiness leaders with the skills they need to drive Nigeria’s agricultural sector forward.
