NCC Awards N30 Million to 3 Tech Startups Through Talent Hunt
Share

The Nigeria Communications Commission (NCC) has recognized and supported three outstanding tech startups with N10 million each, showcasing their groundbreaking solutions in various vital sectors.

In a competitive field of 12 tech startups, three emerged victorious in categories including Blockchain, Renewable Energy, and Assistive Technology for the Elderly and People with Disabilities. Knownow Africa Limited, Solaris Green Tech, and Specxs Care Limited triumphed in their respective domains.

The Executive Commissioner Technical Services of NCC, Engr. Ubale Maska, emphasized the Commission’s commitment to nurturing these innovations. Beyond financial aid, the startups will benefit from an Incubation and Mentorship Program, providing crucial skills and support for refining their ideas.

The next phase involves implementing these innovative solutions within select government agencies and institutions, further demonstrating NCC’s dedication to driving positive change through technology. This initiative builds on the success of previous hackathons, which yielded solutions addressing critical health challenges.

By fostering innovation, NCC aims to contribute significantly to the progress and prosperity of Nigeria, showcasing the transformative power of groundbreaking solutions.
