The Federal Government of Nigeria, in partnership with the European Union and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), has opened applications for the second cohort of the Nigeria Jubilee Fellows Programme (NJFP). The initiative equips young Nigerian graduates with hands-on professional experience through a 12-month paid internship, aimed at improving employability, productivity, and youth inclusion in the job market.

The Nigeria Jubilee Fellows Programme aims to close the gap between education and employment by connecting talented young Nigerians with credible organisations for structured workplace exposure. Beyond supporting job creation, it also benefits small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that host fellows by giving them access to trained graduates who can help strengthen operations and innovation.

The programme’s first edition helped hundreds of fellows transition into full-time employment or entrepreneurship, highlighting its impact on national development and youth empowerment. By providing mentorship, digital learning, and practical experience, NJFP is shaping a generation of graduates who can contribute meaningfully to Nigeria’s economy.
