OCP Africa and BlackCountry Farms step up as headline sponsors for the upcoming Brightest National Agric Science Quiz Competition, premiering on top TV stations across Africa from April 6, 2024.

The journey began in October 2023, with 16,039 students from 2,559 schools taking part in the National Qualifying Examination on the CruxCBT platform. Now, 81 students from six geo-political zones advance to the next phase, competing for university scholarships based on their performance.

Dr. Donald Madueke, Head of Agronomy, Africa at OCP Group, alongside Agronomy Service Officer, Ifunanya Meka, led an engaging session titled “From Farm to Table: The Journey of Our Food,” using technology to dissect the food chain process.

Alexis Udegbe, Head of Strategy & Growth at BlackCountry Holdings, explores farming technologies, while Olajumoke Adetola from Providus Bank shares insights on “Financial Responsibility.”

Injecting excitement is Kiki Omeili, Brightest TV Host, connecting with students through her science background as a trained Medical Doctor from the University of Lagos.
