Share

Amid rising economic challenges, Onga seasoning brand marked its 10th anniversary by launching the Onga Taste the Millions promo, offering N250 million in cash and prizes to loyal consumers. The promo, unveiled at a press briefing in Lagos, will run from September 1 to October 31, 2024, rewarding over 250,000 winners.

Francois Gillet, CEO of Promasidor Nigeria, announced the exciting rewards, which include weekly cash prizes: 10 winners of N1 million, 5 winners of N500,000, 10 winners of N100,000, and 40 winners of N50,000— all for eight weeks. Additionally, 325 winners will receive N10,000 weekly, with 1,800 receiving blenders and gas cookers, while over 200,000 will win instant airtime.

Gillet reflected on Onga’s journey, attributing its success to loyal consumers. “Through this promo, we’re not just celebrating a decade of success, but also giving back to the community that has made Onga a household name,” he said.

Marketing Director Adebola Williams emphasized that the promo would strengthen Onga’s position as Nigeria’s leading culinary brand. “This is our way of thanking consumers for their unwavering support,” she stated.

Culinary Category Manager Oladapo Oshuntoye added that the promo aims to bring joy to thousands of Nigerian households, reinforcing Onga’s role as the seasoning of choice across the country.
